About

I draw much of my inspiration from architecture and industrial design --modern lines and curves, simplicity, functionality, and a touch of imagination.
My background began in architectural engineering, but I slowly drifted toward the world of art and metalsmithing. I have a B.A. in studio art and art history, during which time I found metal to be my medium of choice. I have a particular fondness for rings, metal gadgets and Japanese art. I also support sustainable and environmentally friendly jewelry practices.
I'm currently based in the Salem MA area. My shop is located in an old industrial complex that has been renovated into various artist studios. Feel free to send me an email if you'd like to swing by and check out what I have on hand.
When I’m not in my shop you can usually find me being attacked by one (or both) of my two cats, Olive and Violet (who is actually sleeping on my lap right now). Or watching movies with my wife. Or thrifting. Or playing guitar. Or daydreaming... I daydream a lot.
My work can also be found on Etsy at: Jesse Danger and Dangerous By Design
